Very nice necklace with no stamps, my guess is gold plated.

Bright shine, no defects in the pattern and has some weight to it.

Very smooth and flexible, kinda like holding a live snake!

There is a slight attraction to a magnet, not enough to lift even part of the chain. That tells me there is some kind of ferrous metal as a base but the gold plate is not too light to be just junk. Hope that answers your question.

Since it has no marks I have no idea of it's makeup. I'll check it with a magnet in the morning and post the result.
