The listing, snuff ashtray has ended.

I am not 100% if this is a snuff ashtray. it looks like one to me. this was given to me so it does have some wear and tear from them. I have never used it. I do not know how old it is. it does have some writing inside but I am unable to see it clearly but looks like it may say something about where it was made

I am not really sure but it looks like brass. but I don't know the person who gave it to me didn't tell me all I know is there is the stamp inside. sorry I know this does not help much.
