@ js.......this phone will work on the Verizon Wireless straight talk network. I would check with your provider to make sure it is using the Verizon system.

I just plugged in the MEID on the VZW website and it is a valid phone and clean ( ie not stolen)

You should be able to log onto your VZW prepay account and make the change there. A VZW store can do it also. It does require a data package so if you have a smartphone already you are good to go.

It should still have a sim card spot in it some where u can put one if its unlocked but if it don't then I bid on a phone I can't even use because I with net 10 you sure there not a spot for one

It has no SIM card. It is a 3G(not 4G) phone but can still be hooked up.
