THE HISTORY~

I got this from an estate I took care of. Actually she was an elderly woman at least in her 70's and she had several. I have owned them myself for 20 years. I might be auctioning more later if this one does well.

I had them on a chain hanging across my vanity along with other beautiful old pieces or mementos. It is a lovely idea ;)

Can you tell me if this has a hole on the end of the key to go over a peg and then turn to unlock a desk or cabinet?

I am 99.9 % sure if I understand what you are saying, there is a hole that you could set the key on a peg. I think if you look closely in the pictures you can see it. Unfortunately I am at work and I won't be home till almost when the auction closes. I will do my best to try to get home and get back to you, stay close by after 9:20...LOL. Now I know for the next one to take a better picture of the bottom.
