Hi Angie,
I was waiting to hear if you are available for local pick up on these bows, I have someone right there, who is coming to Vegas for Easter...I see Mary asked a similar question. <><

Angie, as you review some of these offers, please remember this:
1,000 credits = $1.00.
So the posted shipping you are asking, which is only approx. 1/4 of what the actual shipping will be on these, would be 6,000 credits.
Anyone offering less than 50,000 credits on these is not trying to be fair with you at all, which is very unfortunate since you are new.
If we want to welcome new Listians, it seems we need to be fair with our offers.
I noticed one 'gentleman' offered the equivalent of $2.55 after the bid was already the equivalent of $5.12! And he wanted you to ship them for free!
Oh dear! He wasn't asking for much, was he!
Be very cautious. I am very sorry you haven't been greeted in a kinder fashion. Please contact me with any questions you may have, I would love to help you get off to a great start on Listia.
Blessings <><

I would like to suggest a couple of things, in all fairness, to all the bidders on these bows.
1st, please bid fairly, I would like to see these bows bring well over 50,000 credits, even if that means they get beyond my reach.
2nd, whoever wins, please consider paying half of the shipping. So, for example, you win, you receive the bows, and see that they cost $26.00 to ship. You have already paid $6.00 for the shipping, so now, out of a sense of fairness, you send Angie another $10.00 to help defray her shipping costs. If you are able, send the entire amount of shipping! Let's really be fair & kind to this generous new Listian!
Angie would prefer local pick-up, so if you are able to accomplish that, all the better!
Please don't allow Angie to suffer such a big hit on the shipping! Please be fair. If I win, and can't arrange local pick-up, I intend to pay the entire shipping amount, up to $25.00. Financially it will be very tough for me to do that, but these bows are well worth it, and I just can't be involved in hurting another Listian this way. She's new, she hasn't paid to ship anything of this nature recently, & we mustn't make her suffer for her generousity.
PLEASE! If you win and can't do local pick-up, at least split the shipping with Angie.
These bows will be a huge blessing to whoever wins them. Please be fair with Angie. <><

Angie, I am going to send you detailed instructions on how to safely break these down for shipping if your winner can't do local pick-up. If you have a bow press, or can borrow one, life becomes instantly much easier. However, I have wrapped cloth around vice grips in a pinch. Beyond needing a bow press or vise grips, to remove the strings safely, the tools, such as Allen wrenches are very common. You will also want some zip lock bags, which you will label individually as you remove bolts, etc., making the winners reassembly task a bit easier.
Since these all require some TLC to be operational again, no one is going to mind you breaking them down. I am sure they are actually expecting it.
If you have an archery range or pro shop near you, you can often find an enthusiast who will break down your bows for you at no charge.
Another great option is to phone your Orlando Bass Pro Shop for advice. Even driving to Orlando would be well worth your time, to get these broken down professionally. You will save quite a bit on shipping, & your winner will be very pleased with your efforts to package these as safely as possible. Typically, there will be no charge to do this, based on the availability of the expert to help you out.
If I am not blessed to win, & your winner can't do local pick-up, just contact me & I will send you detailed instructions on breaking them down, if you have to do it yourself. It is very easy, however you want to use some caution. There are probably You Tube videos on breaking down a bow, & sites such as:
http://www.archerytalk.com
are filled with great tips, from experts & enthusiasts. Perhaps post on a forum such as theirs, asking to borrow a bow vise near you. Generally speaking, in any sport or hobby, you will meet incredibly gracious & helpful people willing to share their knowledge. <><
