what you see is what you get. a used 2.5" 80GB hard drive. needs to be formatted if using for a netbook/laptop! THIS CAME OUT OF MY PLAYSTATION 3 and is formatted to FAT32. 80GB was too small for me. i never got a chance to delete everything off of this. this was a long time ago, maybe two years ago. so i don't remember exactly how much data i have on this.

this auction is 7 days long. i will TRY TO find the time to put this into my PS3 hard drive, make sure everything works good and delete everything off of it. but i can't promise that because i work crazy hours.

make sure you treat this as a "non-functional/for parts" item (before bidding) for now. if i update this listing, sometime during the week, that means everything works great and there will be absolutely no problems.

Note: the last picture shows the HDD in a plastic case, that is not the original plastic for this hard drive. the plastic case is from the HDD that's currently in my PS3. this HDD does not have original packaging because it came directly from my PS3.

can it be used on a laptops

check your laptop to make sure it takes the same size this is. this is a 2.5" hdd. if your laptop can take 2.5", which i think most can, then yes this can be used for laptops but it must be formatted because it's currently FAT32 from my playstation 3

UPDATE: tested it in my laptop and works fine. Didn't delete the data off it, said it would take more time than I have right now. But everything works great so bid up!
