I have a question my friend is offering me a dp g3 as my first gun and I'm just wondering if it's still a good gun... Eventgough it was made in 2008 and is kindof old

Hi buddy.
Any free marker is a good marker, lol.
DP markers are all good base markers. The nice thing is that it is a lot based on the Planet Eclipse range, thus the barrel is cocker thread, and that means barrel upgrade. That on its own brings the marker quality up a notch!:) The other main thing would be finding the correct paint that will give you the desired performance. DP markers tend to be a bit hard on paint, bolt action, again don't worry as you could upgrade the bolt or just buy a harder paint (field grade will be fine plus it would cheaper.

PS: the Ego 07 was a 2007 marker, that marker I would pick over 90% of the newer models! So don't get stuck on the 2008. :)
