Zari, you register the games there and earn points (or "coins") for completing surveys. Then, when you have enough coins, you can spend them on exclusive items only available through Club Nintendo. For example, the Game & Watch DS game cannot be bought in stores, but CAN be bought at Club Nintendo for 800 coins.

Also, if you reach Gold (300 Coins) or Platinum (600 Coins) status in a 'Club Nintendo year', you get a special prize. I can't remember what Gold members got last year, but Platinum members had a choice between an exclusive Punch Out!! WiiWare game (where you get to fight Mac's trainer) or a high quality Mario hat.

I just hit Gold status tonight for this year, and I have until June 30th (the end of Club Nintendo's 'year') to get 300 more for Platinum. Too bad I already registered this game!
