You are bidding on a Simplicity knitting machine. It's hard to tell the size in the picture, but it is bigger than a large kitchen plate

This is how you work. You thread your "medium weight" thread through the purple threader and make a loop.
As the teeth pick up stitch by stitch, crank slowly until you have one round.
Take a tapestry needle and sew through the first loop all the way around, that way it won't unravel. Then keep going until you've created what ever your heart desires. I have created hats, leg warmers, scarfs, toy snakes, and so much more with mine.

There are two settings (bottom left purple thingy) switch one way and it will only go half round for a scarf or what ever. Crank slowly until it clicks and won't go further, then go back wards, and back and forth until your done.

The other is for all the way around. When you first get it gently play with it until you have discovered how to thread it, and which setting is for what.

If you are gentle this will last you for years and years. So easy to work a child or adult can use it. My 10 year old grand daughter has her own as well ;0)

These retail for $35.00-$45.00 at places like Joanns Fabric store. This one is slightly used but still in awesome condition. I checked it out to see if it still works.
