Description

The listing, Vintage Brass Union Pacific Padlock has ended.

This antique brass lock is pretty cool. It says "Union Pacific CS-21, Roadway & Bridge Department. From my research, it was used to lock various gates and railroad crossings. It uses a skeleton key, which I do not have. It also has some of the original chain that was used. I would keep it, but I am clearing out things I have collected over the years due to health issues.
Due to the weight of this lock, I will have to charge for shipping. I do not wish to make money on shipping, only pass the cost to the winner!
Thanks for checking it out!
Bid high and often!!

how much would shipping be to 46360? Fanned and Watching! I love old keys and locks. Locks are so much harder to come by.

Looks like shipping would be estimated at $6.00 or less. I do not have the item packaged, but it should be less than a pound. Exact shipping could be even less.

This would be selling on that other auction site, but they have quirky policies...shame, would have fetched a nice price. I would rather it go to someone that may not have the funds to bid on another site anyways!! Good luck to all!!

Amazing find! My father has a collection of these from the EJ&E, as well as the Michigan Central, but not the union pacific yet, I'll be sure to bid!

I would not think to look for an old lock on Amazon; EBAY yes, Amazon no. Shopjohn, if you come across a key that could be used for this lock do let us know!
