Up for auction is an excellent example of what the United States used to do with it's currency. The Morgan Dollar is a beautiful and intricate design which this example from the New Orleans mint shows with its full luster and almost flawless detail.

I have seen a lot of Morgans and good ones from the Carson City mint and New Orleans mint are getting harder and harder to find which in turn makes them more and more valuable. This is a double of mine and I have decided rather than having it graded and sold I would put it up for the great people that visit this site. I am not a pro grader but this is probably an AU or close to a low MS (but that is just my opinion in comparison to other graded coins)

Along with the Morgan the winner will also receive a circulated 1936 Walking Liberty half-dollar. This coin is another example of how intricate currency used to be. Lady liberty still has detail in both feet as well as her hand and the eagles feathers are still easily seen on the back. My only camera which is my phone do not do any of my coins justice and I believe the winner will be surprised with just how great these coins really are.
