This bracelet is like the friendship bracelets of today, but much more complex than most of those. I am not sure if the muted colors is by design or if it should be hand-laundered.

About the piece;
Several years ago, I bought a hat box full of handmade Native American jewelry and items. The initials on some of the pieces are "DAL" or "DRL", I think. I can tell you that the family were of Cheyenne/Arapaho Tribe, but unfortunately, I do not remember the name. I know they set up at a lot of Pow Wow's and fairs in the area, and as far north as the great lakes. I forgot about the box until I was spring cleaning my closets. From the looks of the items, a lot are straight from the 80's, so I am dating all of the pieces from there.
