The Block Erupter USB series is the second major product of ASICMINER. It serves as a replacement of GPUs. They hash at a rate of 300+ mh/s while drawing only 0.5A (500mA) from the USB port, which is somewhere in the range of 2.6 watts. Compare that power usage to a Radeon 7850 which can regularly draw 130 watts for the same hash rate!
