Description

The listing, HP Flatscreen Monitor (needs power supply has ended.

4 years ago I bought this and I used it for less then 8 months and the power supply died on it and i never bothered to get it fixed. This is a cheap and easy fix for someone who knows what they are doing.

how do you know its just a power supply and not other stuff that could be bad inside? and does it do anything at all when you push the power button?

It isn't the power supply. I have a monitor exactly the same as that with the same problem. One of the capacitors is bad inside and needs to be replaced.

i had it looked at by a tech your wrong dude but if your happen to be right thats an even easier fix then a power supply. but my info is based the tech professional looking at it. he could have been wrong.

the power supply is capacitors that need to be replaced, but ive seen people online that use a old computer power supply and wire it to a flatscreen for power.
