The listing, VINTAGE S&P SHAKER has ended.

Up for grabs today is this Vintage set of Pewter salt and pepper shakers. This set was used on my Grandmother's dinner table for as far back as I can remember, so that would make them old. LOL The tops have a star like pattern for the contents to pour out that you can see in #3, where the salt holes are drastically smaller than those of the pepper shaker. They have the cutest little handles making pouring easy. Both the seals on the bottom are solid not all dried out as they would sometimes do, See picture #4
The markings on the bottom of both say WEB PEWTER I tried to get a picture of these markings in picture #5 however it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. These stand 2 1/2 inches tall. They just need some good old fashion TLC in their new home and they'll be good as new!!

Pewter was very popular in the 70's, as I am sure, it was in other times, These are certainly a nice pair.

They are antique and in excellent condition. I truly can't believe the bid isn't higher. But it is what it is. Just hoping they go to a good home and to someone who appreciates it.

Went thru kind of the same thing in 1999 I think it was except it was my coin collection. Lived in WV at the time not here in the desert. LOL And of course I wasn't pregnant. LOL

Accually, I'm probably closer to 1,000. I forgot about the ones I've received as gifts, and picked up here and there that I haven't put in my system with the others yet. And I don't have any like these! I gotta say, it is a lot of work having around 1,000 s&p shaker sets, especially in 1996 when they all went thru the flood we had here in Aurora, IL when I was 9 months pregnant! It's cool, they survived. Lol
