The listing, Pokemon Red for Gameboy not working has ended.

This is a copy of Pokémon Red for Gameboy. Was working fine until about a week ago. When you start the game, the screen turns white half way through the opening song. Not sure if it's just dirty or what the deal is. Maybe someone can fix this or use for parts? The battery was good and it was saving when last played.

The outside of the game is in decent cosmetic condition.

Regarding the game, have you tried blowing into the cart itself as well as your Gameboy? I have a pretty wonky GBA and I find blowing into the game slot and cart itself usually does the trick after multiple start up freezes and whatnot.

Granted, it does take me multiple inserts/uninserts to get the game to start up, but after a few tries - or less - it's golden. This cart is more than likely very playable.

I have tried it on both my gba and Gameboy color multiple(irritating) times to no avail. It probably just needs to be cleaned or fiddled with-I see a lot of people fixing these cartridges, I just want to take the time to try.
