So is there some kind of mount ? I am totally ignorant of how this works. So I am guessing you put it where you want & then pull it to run it on computer to see what is on it? Is there special software that it runs on? Have you used this?

This is brand new. Yes you leave it where you want to record. No software plays on your default video player.

Same question, I get it charges while plugged in, but after its charged can I just leave it somewhere, or does it have to be plugged in while recording? Sorry the other guy asked but I was unclear on the answer. Watching and bidding!
