This is a brand new USB wifi adapter for Desktop computers and laptops (if you don't mind the small antenna). It comes with the driver installation CD and works with Windows XP, Vista, 7 (and Windows 8 I think but it's not listed) as well Mac OS X and Linux. This will allow the computer to recieve wifi internet from a wireless router nearby just like a laptop or any mobile device could without plugging in an ethernet cable to it. All the info is on the pack if you can read it in the pics. I listed all the important info. It is not a major brand like netgear or belkin but they work fine. I have used one exactly like this as I bought 2 and only wound up using 1. Hope that helped.

I doubt it would work on a PS3 unless you know of standard computer wifi adapters normally working on a PS3. I am no expert in PS3 stuff but the package shows it works with Windows, Mac and Linux computers to pick up wifi from your own wireless router. My guess is no but feel free to research that for yourself. Thanks
