FREE: Late 1800's "Bennington" Clay Crockery Marble

The listing, Late 1800's "Bennington" Clay Crockery Marble has ended.

This marble is what is known as a bennington marble. It is a clay marble with a brown glaze that was made sometime in the late 1800's. It doesn't appear to have any damage as far as I can tell. I happened to find it mixed in with a bunch of old glass marbles as well as more modern glass marbles that I bought all together in a vase at a yard sale. I personally knew very little about marbles but a good friend of mine provided some information about this one which I have cropped and uploaded (last photo) and some of the glass ones I have come across as well so I have a bit more knowledge now. These came in a few different sizes and I am not sure what size this one is right now but I can update the listing tomorrow with the exact size. I do have a picture of it next to a penny though for a quick size reference. If you have any questions I will do my best to answer them. I am open to a fair GIN offer.
