No... the only thing it came with (That I am aware of) is the USB connection to the computer, which is included in the package.

is this like a tablet that has wifi and free apps like android or ipad...Im not familiar with it but 2 of my grandchildren are just the right age, F&W

You can connect it to the computer and download apps that way, I'm not really sure about the Wi-Fi, but I don't think it has it (could be wrong though)... it's all packaged right now ready to ship, so I can't really check it out, without unpackaging it. I haven't really done too much with it, so I really can't tell you all it can or can't do.

The leap pad 1 had no enabled Wi-Fi. The leap pad 2 and ultra etc. Do have Wi-Fi.

The manufacturers recommended age is 4-8 years old, so he would probably find it a little too easy (or boring).
