There is an oval with letters stamped beside the 925. However, it's so small I can't read them and my camera can't focus in on it. It looks like there are 2 or 3 letters inside the oval.

Yes there is an oval beside the 925 but I can't read the letters in it. These came from the fine jewelry counter at jcpenney.
