With this do you just put it into the mixed kinda moist soil?
I wasn`t sure how the cactus actually roots or will it help to add rooting powder to it also? I do have a few other cactus but I have never rooted one yet,

it is not picky at all, very easy to root, just put it in about any kind of soil about 1inch deep, I have grown some in just potting soil, do not water much, might actually be better not to water at first, water after it gets dry for a day or so, I have also had a piece break of and just lay there and root

Has anyone ever heard this before it is an old wise tail.
Your never suppost to thank anyone for a plant because they will die on you.
I heard that for many years and I tend to never Thank anyone for a plant not even when I buy any from a store or plant nursery.
Thought I would share that little information I always heard. Just a thought..
