is 16g too big for ear and nose piercings?

I would recommend it for a nose piercing unless you plan to use a 16g jewelry like a captive ring. its good for the ears 16g or 14g. I have both a 16g and a 14g captives on my ears. thanks for asking

No this size is Not good for Tongue piercing unless you want to have a thin jewelry on your Tongue. Use a 14g for your Tongue which is the normal standard size for Tongue piercing. Thanks for Asking!
