This Copenhagen Market cabbage is a heavy yielding plant that comes in early. This great Old Fashioned German Cabbage was introduced in Denmark in 1909 and has been the standard of excellence ever since. The cabbage heads are solid and weigh 3 to 4 pounds each, resist splitting, and keep well. Each head grows up to 8" across. These medium-sized plants are ideal for small gardens. Makes delicious coleslaw, wrapper leaves, salad, or sauerkraut. Does well in a range of climates and also stores well. These seeds were organically grown and are Non-GMO.
