The listing, Amish Friendship Bread Starter Recipe has ended.

I have used this starter over the years to make a lot of bread. I make Banana Nut, these are a list of some of the things I add to a batch or or I may just add one or two of these to a batch. One batch makes two or three loafs depending on the size of your pans.
Cinnamon
Raisins
Pecans
Walnuts
Flax seeds
Coconut
Bananas
Apples
Blue Berries
I am sure you can test and try any fruit you like best.

I love to make breads, but I really would like to try this recipe out. Sounds wonderful. People love homeade bread, it is such a treat when you give them some. Their eyes light up.

They do and they is sweet like the banana nut, spits perfect. I have some older loaf pans that are half the size of a regular loaf pan I use a lot.
