i just find the wrapped stones are more of a personal touch and really are pieces of art because of the time and effort put into them making them more special. And when you are lucky enough to win them and you wear them they truly become a statement piece that gets noticed. My Mom got me into them long ago because she actually would pan for gemstones in North Carolina and bring them back to have them polished and smoothed to make jewelry with.
