I have not open the box. I think the removable hot dog basket is for easy clean up not the actual basket for eating.

I thought it had the red basket because of the picture in it. So I opened mine to see and it didn't have one. I opened the other one to be sure and it wasn't there. So I looked in the book and the "Basket" is what you put the hot dogs in to cook. Thank you so much for clarifying this. I am Happy Happy Happy! :-)

Hello photog I don't understand what you are saying about a red basket. Does it come with a red basket, wouldn't that be for serving the hotdog?

The basket is not included with the Toaster machine. Photog has the toaster and he thought the basket was in the box but it wasn't so he asked me why his doesn't have it. The box only comes with the Toaster machine not the baskets.
