Description

The listing, A Personalized Poem By An Award Winning Writer has ended.

I am a playwright from West Virginia. I won First Place Advanced Playwrighting at the West Virginia Thespian Festival 2011. Poetry is a passing hobby for me that I find trivial and easy, however, I have a bit of a writing snag, and need an exercise in poetry to kickstart my abilities once more. From a brief bio, I will create a Microsoft Word document containing an exclusive poem and pretty formatting. Winner must describe themselves and provide an email address. Writing samples of my prose available on request. One piece of Free Verse Poetry is also availible for sample. I consider myself a professional, and will someday be a published author, thusly making this a truly once-in-a-lifetime auction.

Loss: A Eulogy To Sanity
I lost a guitar pick.
I lost a poem.
I lost a video tape from when I was a kid.
I lost a role model.
I lost a member of my senior class.
I lost my mind.
I lost.
Everyday I seem to lose,
along this lifetime losing cruise.
Very soon I'll come to find,
Everyone has lost their mind.
I forgot.
I forgot how to play guitar.
I forgot how to play games.
I forgot how to sing.
I forgot how to love.
Everyday we break our hearts,
Everyday we fall apart.
Whats the problem?
Who's to blame?
God?
The Devil?
Love.
Blame Love.
The cause and solution is love.
Hope and fear,
we find in love.
Fear of loss,
hope of gain.
Love.
I'm afraid.
Bring me hope.
Love me.
Don't lose me.

It's free verse, but it's very rhythmic and sentimental. I have some rhyming stuff if you'd prefer.
