Description

The listing, Canon FC 16M - Flash memory card - 16 MB - CompactFlash (used) has ended.

I am guaranteeing that this will work. What I am not guaranteeing is that I deleted all of the pictures on it. I already sold my camera that I took this camera out of and I didn't sell this with it. It works but I would appreciate the buyer to either email me the pictures if they don't mind (if there are any on it).

CompactFlash (CF) cards are used to store images recorded by the camera.

Hey, If you have a computer with Windows OS that has a CF port, or if you have an adapter that you can plug it a USB, if you format the CF....by opening MY COMPUTER by clicking START, Clicking once the port where the CF card is, on the left you will see where it says FORMAT. Click that and it will reformat the card and remove everything on it. The same can be done with SD. Of course, there will remain "ghosts," but only a very savvy tech would know how to restore them. That's not me, or most folks... and they would have to have more than a vague curiosity to go through all that. It is a pain in the ass and doesn't always work. I was very lucky to know one of those kinds of techs a few years back who saved some wedding pictures for me.....when I was working as a professional photographer. Some professional, eh? Best of luck to you.

=-) Thanks for your response. I don't have a CF port =-) I am a computer geek without a CF port how sad I know. LOL If i had a feeling there was something important on this I would just borrow from someone. I also can get "ghosts" off of drives - im one of those. LOL

If some super geek wants to search through my pictures on my card there very much welcome to, trust me its not that exciting to in the least I'm sure LOL. :-)

Hey, 'geek', lmao, I have a non related question I hope you might help me with, There is a compaq lap top listed right now that I'm interested in, the lister says she doesnt have a password to get into it after she turns it on, Is there any way to by-pass that, or a generic password from compaq that would 'unlock' it? Just thought I'd ask :-) One more thing, will your card work in a Pentax (omg, think thats my camera brand!) camera? ThANKS ALOT!

send me an email with the link to the auction - not on here or we will both get in trouble for posting links to other peoples auctions. Yes you can get in... kind of... Is it the windows password or is there like a main security before the computer first gets into the operating system. Theres always the easy way, if they give you the restore CD or you buy it... You can swap out the hard-drive and just run it.... Or depending on where your locked out you can just boot from it. I need more information, but have no problem helping you.

As far as the camera, i cant say yes and cant say no... Its a flash memory card, almost every brand, but i think kodak has at least one camera that uses this type... BUT every brand also has cameras that do not. If you send me the model number of the camera I will check for you if u want.
