FREE: Very Old "Pirate-Style" Skull Dagger

I received a question earlier in my inbox, and as a bit more information on the dagger, I thought I'd share it here.

"Hello, I was just wondering if you made this and if not where did you get it from?"

This is the story behind how I came to have it:

Hey. Thanks for the question. No, I didn't make it. My grandfather used to go to auctions all the time when he was alive and he'd buy boxes of things like this, arrowheads, old books, farm equipment (he lived on a ranch/farm), and other things. He and I both had a love of knives, and many times he would give me a lot of them from the auctions. Old Case pocketknives, daggers, Bowie knives, etc. This was one that was in a box he gave me when I was about 17 or 18. I've kept others that I liked more, and I'm just thinning out my collection is all. This is one of the ones that didn't make the cut for keeping. It's a really heavy knife, very old (I haven't polished or sharpened it since I've had it because I didn't want to mess it up), and just a really interesting one I thought others might enjoy.
