The listing, Big Blue Massive Agate! has ended.

It is raining agates and Geode at my house!!! They are everywhere!!!! This is another Brazilian baby who I just finished polishing, and admiring! This one is about 7 inches in length and width! While they were gone I was playing, "let's make jewelry"and they just slammed me with the most beautiful bunch of colors ever!!!!!! I even have a few very "off the wall" looking ones, totally unique!!!!

Oh will put on this one 2 last pictures of the Geode I found in the mountains this morning!!! It's NOT included, but the blue aquamarine crystals in it will get you psyched for my Geode win, win, win auctions!!!!

I am in a group of Gemologists and Archeologists, I was in medicine for 25 years but got sick so since I had a masters in Science, I am finishing my Gemology degree...we go to Madagascar, Russia, Brazil, but I stay close to home, Utah, Nev, Cali, AZ, Idaho....letc.. it''s fun! This last big one was in the southern Utah desert, just on my way to gamble in Wendover nevada.... (it's illegal in Ut) BOOOO!

lol didn't know it was illegal in Utah. Where in Arizona do you find them? I live in Phoenix.

I imagine these are not by the highway on the way to Grand Canyon :)

Only the gambling is illegal...In AZ on the way there, from Ut, we stop and get tons of sandstone, petrified wood,
A great spot to find quality agates is in and near one of several agate mines located in the state. Several mines are located around the towns of Bloody Basin, Burro Creek, Brenda and Arlington.

Search for agate on bright and sunny days while wearing comfortable hiking boots. Arizona agates are commonly found either laying down on the ground in close proximity to an agate mine or laying on the ground inside the agate mine. Sunny days help you see the unique reflection of colors from agates above ground. You will have to use your flashlight while in the mine to help see the colors of the agate as you search underground.
