I found a place where you can get FREE tomato seeds - these nice folks will give you your choice of SIX varieties from their list of about 135 kinds of tomato - many of them are rare and/or heirlooms. All you have to do is print their form, pick 6 kinds (and 4 alternates) and send it to them with an SASE. You get your seeds in a couple of weeks.

When I did it I got 7 kinds of tomatoes (10 to 20 seeds each) and a packet of pepper seeds.
