satin 7 I had that happen with an antique ring I won! I wanted to bid on this but I think I will pass considering they don't want to take responsibility if something goes wrong. I have to take responsibility for my auctions!

FYI, if you ship rings without proper care, and they are damaged, the winner is entitled to a refund. Listia will support the winner via dispute. Too many sellers are trying to save money by sending rings in a regular letter envelope. The USPS sorting machine destroys them.

I will send smaller items in regular envelopes, but I also pay an extra fee to have the envelopes hand stamped by the postal worker, rather than ran through the machine.

Its not worth the risk sending in a standard white envelope.. I have several empty and destroyed envelopes delivered with a USPS letter attached stating damage due to improper packaging by sender. Listia will refund winner.. and its sad to say but tracking may not be required but it saves you from the scammers on Listia...
