Another beautiful piece from the estate sale I went to last week. The lady was in her 80's and so her scarves were AMAZING from so many different eras! This one looks to be from the 50s or maybe early 60s. It is 30x30 inches and is the most delicate fabric I have ever felt!

The pattern on one side has flowers and birds and it is a pale pink color with a wide border that is darker. Hard to tell what color it is, maybe a light burgundy, or a pale brown. The edges are rolled and are a espresso brown color. the back side is a pale pink with a tint of brown. You can see the other pattern through the other side, but faintly. It is just so precious and sweet.

The estate sale was one of the tidiest I have ever been in, and I smelled no smoke in the house. She had BEAUTIFUL things and I picked up a few goodies right as they were opening. Just wished I could have gone back when everything was marked down in price and picked up some more things. (see my other auctions for some more of these things).

My home is smoke-free and pet friendly, although my pet is NOT allowed near this scarf since it is so delicate - it would pick very easily, but yet would be SO wispy when you wear it. I see no damage on the item, but it is very vintage and the elderly lady likely wore it with great joy.
