Its about 7 in a half - 8 inches. I measured just the length of the bear, hope that helps:)

The tag says copyright 1998, above that seems to have a stamped serial number. Interesting, haven't seen a fisher price toy with that before. But I've had it about 4 months , someone had given it to my lil girl. Hope that helps:)

I believe its just a stuffed bear . Package doesn't mention anything about music and he doesn't rattle :)
