You know what Sweetie I'm not sure?! It was a gift from a friend & I took them out the pkg to look at em & 2 try 1of the clips on & something came up & had 2 hurry out the door so I left em on the counter & somehow someway the pkg got tossed out or shredded up & I didn't get a chance to read all about it! Pull a couple of strands off and take a lighter to it.... if it smells "plasticy"... then it's synthetic... if it smells like burnt hair, then it should be human, or at least a human blend hair... hope that helps... :)

PS... plus synthetic hair will melt, where as human will burn up and be ashy.. :)
