It can be used with Sprint service. I don't know whether or not it can be unlocked to use with another provider. I never had any reason to look into it.

The phone is in like new condition, was barely used no damage to the phone or the screen. Fully functional.

I believe so yes, but I really don't know a lot about unlocking, I've never had a reason to inquire about unlocking a phone.
