Used about a week. Has a chip for the computer, and uses a double A battery(not included) .Pretty neat!

so all you need to do is plug usb piece into pc, put battery in and the mouse is all set to go???? no software needed or anything??? compatible with any pc?

It's that easy! Also, the mouse has an on/off switch, so you can turn it off when you're not using it,and use less batteries. No software to download Just plug it in and go!

No, I'm sorry. I got it to go with my desktop, and that died like a month later, so I got a laptop. Don't need it now.
