The listing, PC TO TV CONVERTER has ended.
Almost brand new still in box. Used a handful of times to hook my old computer to a projector. Handles video only, no audio. Converts computer's VGA display to TV through RCA or S-video (S-video cord included). I found it very useful for hooking up to DVRs and projectors, and to my TV to watch Netflix and other online video.
Sound will still work on your computer. but if you want the sound to come from your tv or theater sound system, you will have to buy a phone plug to RCA audio cable, about 5 dollars at Radio Shack.
Can you use this on a desktop and if so what connections do i need for it to work. I want to bid but i wanna make sure it will work on my desktop. Thank u
goody. some people don't have the money or know how to install a graphics card tho. And also with an auction like this one, no money need be spent. Just credits. Thanks for commenting though. Knowledge is power.
with today's computers (touch screen running win8) sure, you can use HDMI. but with most post modern computers this is what is needed to convert VGA signal to a signal that tvs and peripheral components (vcrs, dvrs, and dvd players) can use.
As you will see, I will communicate with those that show interest in my auctions. Ask questions. Fan and Watch. I will fan you back. Good luck to all bidders!

So wait; this will basically use my laptops extra external VGA port out and connect to a TV thru the AV jacks?
Every time I get one of the cables that do this they fail. However, I see you have the nix that gas the board inside that properly coverts the signal. SWEET
It will transfer video signal, but not audio. That's why it only comes with one RCA wire and an S-video wire. Also includes a vga cord as well. THIS THING WORKS. It worked for me.
