The listing, 1974 Mint Proof Set Eisenhower Coins has ended.

Here is a nice set of coins and according to the internet silver was still used in collector coins and these have never been handled-uncirculated. There is a black cardboard case they come in besides the plastic case. We got these in a storage room sale we bought I am trying to get a $10 gift certificate to Mcdonalds and they want 20000 get it now so I am putting that as the get it now so please do not ask me to lower it cause then I won't have enough credits to buy the certificate. Thank you and God Bless

Just was wondering if this nice auction has the COA (Certificate of Authenticity) with it?

I asked my husband and he said there was one but I don't see it anywhere. We have a box with other coins and things and it is not in there. Does it mean they are not worth selling? or trading or whatever you call it?

Some collectors prefer to have the item as it originally came (i.e. with the Certificate of Authenticity), but others don't care as much (like me) and will bid anyway (like me) Also not every proof set was silver. Silver proof sets were produced only by the San Fran mint and there would be an S mint mark on the coins. Does this coin set have a mint mark? That said, not all San Fran proof sets are silver...only the ones specifically manufactured and marketed as such. Ask me how I learned that factoid...

They do have an S on every coin. Thanks for letting me know so that means 40% silver I believe. That is what google says-lol

Wellll, it doesn't mean that they're silver, it means they could be, as only the SF mint did silver proof sets. I suspect that the set you have is a standard 1974S proof set because the silver proof sets that I have indicate Silver Proof Set on the case. Regardless, it is a nice set and I hope it does well for you. Have any other coins/coin sets you might list?

Oh, I see. Sorry about that. I did not see that info on google when I looked. It does not mention anything but the S. Wikipedia I believe it is. I sell on ebay. Power Seller. Actually my daughter does it all, I just supply the merchandise. Sold A bunch of silver coins last month, several Morgans. I have alot of wheat pennies she is listing and some other coins, but on ebay. I have one other set like this one I may have her put on here. I am blind(very close to it) and it is hard to do this sometimes. God has blessed me so far. They have so many wonderful internet devices to help. i will see if she wants to put it on here for me. The money is used to put my Grandson through college.

My ebay power seller account I use of my daughters. I thought the S Ike dollars had 40% silver but I don't know. Wikipedia says it does. Who knows. They are still nice uncirculated coins, I think.
