Several years ago, my husband bought me a wire-wrapping/jewelry-making kit for Christmas. After my initial disappointment, I began to really enjoy iit, and I bought up everything I could find even remotely related to jewelry making... including these.

Years later, I still don't know what to do with these. They're taking up much-needed space in my bead organization area, so it's time to let them go.

Here's what you'll get:

*Sky blue topaz (2.051 CT, 8 mm; round concave cut; clean clarity). Blue topaz is the December birthstone, and it is known to enhance creativity, career decision making, and both written and oral communication. This stone is probably my favorite of the bunch. It's gorgeous!

Pear-shaped pigeon's blood ruby (4.7 X 3.7mm). Ruby is July's birthstone. It is said to increase feelings of passion and even self-love. It also aids in the cleansing of infection and germs in the blood. This is a nice little bright red stone with a bluish hue. Definitely pigeon's blood - one of the rarest rubies around!

*Amethyst (3.34 CT, 13 X 9 mm; double-sided pear shape; clean clarity). Amethyst is February's birthstone. It is said to instill soberness of mind and wisdom. It is also a protective stone against poison, nightmares, breathing and heart problems. This is a little pale for my tastes, but it's still a nice stone.

Rose quartz (7 X 5 mm oval cabochons; 50 pieces). This gemstone is the birthstone for January, along with garnet. This is known as the "love stone," since it, like the ruby, opens the heart up to receiving love - even self-love. It is also said to bring emotional balance and may enhance the functioning of a number of body systems, from the circulatory to the reproductive.


*The sky blue topaz and amethyst come with certificates of authenticity. I don't have these certificates for the other two anymore (if I ever had them).
