petrified wood can be found throughout the united states 1 forest is not the only source ive been polishing rocks for several years and i have hundreds of pounds both polished and raw . wanting a piece of paper for a rock is unheard of....

One other question - Was the petrified wood obtained legally? I know lots of people just take it out of the Petrified Forest National Park. How did you come upon it, please?
