A deciduous perennial shrub, produces abundant sweet berries. Berries are extremely high in antioxidants! IIUC, leaves are used in soups & stews. Do your homework!

Very cold hardy, purportedly surviving temps as low as -10 d F. Self-fertile ~ you only need one plant but greater pollination will occur w/ more.

Berries contain 11 essential & 22 trace minerals, 18 amino acids, 6 essential vits, 8 polysaccharides & 6 monosaccharides. Goji berries are 1 of the most nutrient dense foods discovered.

Start Goji in spring after last frost date.
Once your seeds have germinated & tender plants are ready to go into the garden, plants prefer full day sun but will tolerate half-day sun. Or transplant to larger pots. Give plenty of room. Check soil ph. Prefers alkaline soil. Will make it in lightly acidic environ.

Hardy USDA z 6-9. Chk location to make sure they have a chance of surviving winters. Seeds slow to germ, 3 ~ 4 wks (depending on temps). Need as much time to grow as possible ~ go dormant in winter where the weather goes below freezing.
