I had gotten this as a gift for someone, and when I saw them, They had done gotten a phone with a 2 year plan. The more I have looked and read about the phone thinking about keeping it myself. When the two Comp. merged with each other, they have 97% coverage nation wide. I was like noway, that's better than verizon, but it's true. I can't lower the day's, and I hope to get over 3000 creds. I paid over a Hundred Dollars for the phone, and it's never been activated yet. I opened the box just to show what all came with, and turned power on. The plastic film is still on front and back.

Yes it's Wifi. You can even use the phone as a internet connection, for other stuff, Laptop, tablet, or anything that needs a internet connection to work. It said on the box can be used as a MOBILE INTERNET HOTSPOT, for Laptops, Tablets, and that surprized me.

Also, are you including a plan with the phone? If so, then how long is it? Or do we need to buy our own plan?

No SIM card- No I'm not including a plan-The phone hasn't even been activated-I just opened the box and turned it on for u all to see. ANDROID-4.0.4- OS, ICE CREAM SANDWICH. The phone also has spoken turn by turn Navigation.
