Ours is a non smoking home.... however, there are a few things in the box which did come from another Listia member who smoked. I am super allergic to cig smoke and the residue, so those things are going away. They don't smell horrid....just wanted to be up front!

maybe i can if it goes high enough...emsmommy...i am fairly new to listia and still don't really know what a good amount of credits is for something....I have read tons of descriptions on auctions that say once it reaches 500 it's free shipping or once it reaches 3000 the amounts are so wide in range. Let's say I was to do a medium flat rate box which is 10.95 what would be a reasonable amount of credits to say free shipping for it? If I load it with craft stuff? Any advice from anyone would be awesome!

The "good amount" is really dependant on you and what you are willing to "spend." I have done some auctions and gotten great bids and others I thought would do well and didn't. I try to give free shipping. I look at it this way.... If I am "selling" an item, I do that to get the points. When I bid, I typically try to do the free shipping or very minimal shipping. I usually won't bid on anything with shipping over a dollar or two. Granted I spent $15 the other day to ship a box. But I figure it works out in the end because I didn't have to spend $25 on a knitting book I have been wanting. The auctions are VERY wide range. Just keep looking and watching and you will develop a feel for it. It took me a while to get that feel. =) Adding some green shamrock grossgrain ribbon.

I have started doing more of these types to try to weed out craft supplies I don't really use, need or have too much of. I might even try other types of things like sewing, or household stuff. The key is getting enough credits to make the free shipping worthwhile. It's not about the items, because those I want to give away... just trying to justify paying to ship that's my quandry! Adding in u..... another hunk of fabric.

Tried to bid on the last sewing one and got distracted and did not get to bid. I love your auctions.
