GIN means Get It Now. You place an amount that you will except and if any one choose to get it for that amount instead of waiting until the end of the auction and maybe losing it you get it for the set amount the seller sets. I love it as I don't have to be bothered with having to be home at the time the auction goes off or fighting to make sure I win.
