Gosh thank you for bringing to my attention. I am thinking, with it being heavy, that it is , I guess, plated. I see SS at the end but my reading glasses aren't that great looking any smaller things.I don't think I saw any numbers though and its pkgd up now.I got it as gift but didnt wear it but few short times. :)
