The listing, ANTIQUE GOVERNMENT LAW BOOK has ended.

Up for auction today is an ANTIQUE Constitutional Government and Law class book. It is a youth's manual of instruction in the principles of constitutional government and law. It is written by a Mr Andrew W Young. As you can see in the photograph I included, it is copy written by Clark and Maynard (New York) publishers in 1880. It is a very rare book and can fetch a nice piece of change on a competitors auction-style website but I decided I am sure there is a collector or two on Listia that would love to have this in their collection. I mean after all money isn't everything it's just something we need in case we don't die tomorrow. Lol. Hello young lady I was hoping you could help me out. I did quite a bit of research on this book only to find out that this specific year that it was copywritten is a rare find that is if you can find it and would be a prized piece in an antique book collectors library. I was just hoping to get your opinion as a professional you think it is in fact as rare as they say and is it a piece that you would enjoy having in your collection? Hello my friend, what is found is it was copyright in 1864 by Mr. Andrew E. Young.. The library of Congress show no limitation on copyright.. Hope is helps..

1864....wow.... So it is actually a Civil War era textbook. That is very very cool. With that being said I really hope that this brings me a lot of credits because I think it warrants a good amount of credits would you say so?

Lol...good eye....no...that is the fridge that is in the indoor/outdoor pool area.... We just picked a refrigerator with the closest look that would more or less match the stone and cement type of work around the pool area....

This piece of history should not be out in the air. This should only be handled with gloves on and put under glass. This should be sold to a museum

I agree. This could be used in a history class to show the students how the government and it's laws are so much different from today

That is a great idea in fact if you look at the earlier comments a woman who is bidding on this book wants to give it to her nephew who is going on to be a highschool teacher of politics and government
