This was givin to my son, used about a year ago. We didn't have a charger. I did charge it once using a friends charger. It worked perfectly and held a charge for a good while. After that we never bought a charger and never tried to use it again. Therefore I can't say for sure if it works now or not. I'm unsure of the version but I know it picks up Wi-Fi. It has a battery but no cords are included. The screen is very scratched, but you can still see good to play. Also it is missing a button on the bottom beside the start button.
