The scent is more of a perfume/cologne scent compared to floral or natural scents and definitely can work with both genders depending on taste. It's not over-powering either which is one thing I love about it. I used a body wash in this scent for a while and loved it then realized my boyfriend had been using it too :) it worked well with his Cologne and wasn't too girly he said. The body wash or lotion also works well with other perfumes if you change your mind last minute!
